What is the ChibiArcade?

The ChibiArcade is where all the games are located. Many users play games to make ChibiPoints, but some also play for fun. Here you will find two types of games: flash games and browser based.

Flash Games

Tomato Bounce

Tomato Bounce is one of the most popular games on ChibiPaws. The objective of the game is to help the tomatoes get away from the salad bowl. You do so with a spatula that the tomatoes bounce one (which is why the game is called Tomato Bounce).

A screenshot of Tomato Bounce.

There are three types of tomatoes in this game:
Red= 50 points
Green= 50 points
Fat red= 100 points

Each tomato gives you a different amount of points. In addition to tomatoes, there are a few more extra items:
Heart= Gives an extra life
Hotdog= Makes the spatula become bigger
Gem= Give you more points
Fish bones= Makes the spatula become smaller
Lightning bolt= Makes you lose points
Note: for every 500 points, you receive another life!

Every time you drop a tomato, you lose a life. When you get to the point where you have no lives, the game ends. The amount of ChibiPoints you receive when the game is over will be your final score. For example, if you scored 5000 points in the game, you would get 5000 ChibiPoints.

Pearl Hunt

The objective of Pearl Hunt is to get 10 pearls through the maze before time runs out. To move the rows, click on the orange clam shells on the sides.

Now, let's explain some of the stuff in the maze.
Coin= Gives you 10 extra points
Starfish= Gives you 10 extra seconds
Crab= Makes you lose 10 points
Urchin= Pops the field
Jellyfish= Skids the pearl

Like the rest of the flash games, the amount of ChibiPoints you receive is your final score. Because I scored 80 points in that game, I received 80 ChibiPoints.

Snowball Warrior

The objective of this game is to shoot as many enemies as you can with snowballs. You use the arrow keys for movement: up and down make you move forwards and backwards, and left and right make you rotate. The spacebar is used to shoot snowballs.

A screenshot of Snowball Warrior.

As mentioned before, the objective is to shoot as many enemies, with snowballs, as possible. Here are the people you need to aim at:
Blue Hat= Easy to hit
Brown Hat= Will occasionally shoot snowballs
Orange Coat= Frequently shoots snowballs and needs to be hit three times
Yeti= Moves very fast, frequently shoots snowballs, and need to be hit three times

Browser Based

Prize-O-Matic

The Prize-O-Matic will give you anything from 1 ChibiPoint to cookies. Every twelve hours, you have the chance to pull the trigger and receive a prize.

Yay! A nice book for my pet!

Find de Chibi

The most common Chibi I found while playing the game.

For 250 ChibiPoints a turn, you have a chance of finding a Chibi by clicking on one of twelve X's. You can play it three times every twelve hours. Who knows, you may even find some rare Chibis in that game...

Rock, Paper, Scissors

Ah, the classic game of rock, paper, scissors. Do you love playing it? Well, hop on over to the arcade and play it again the Evil Bunny! You have twenty tries to try and win as many times as possible. For each victory, you win 100 ChibiPoints.

The Evil Bunny got PWNED.

Higher or Lower

Is the number higher or lower than 20? That's what Higher or Lower is about: guessing the value of a number compared to 20. If you guess correctly, you win a random amount of ChibiPoints. Guess wrong, you win nothing. You can play Higher or Lower three times a day.

Pull a Ticket

The object of this game is to pull a ticket from the box to try and win a prize. Only tickets with a 1, 8, and 9 will get you anything. The prizes can range from a common item to a rare one, but so far, I have never won CP from that game. It can be played three times a day.

Word Scrambler

My personal favorite out of the games, Word Scrambler will give you a scrambled up version of a word that you have to try and unscramble. You'll receive a random amount of ChibiPoints, ranging from 1-5k, for every word you guess right. You have five words to unscramble, so good luck!

I wonder what this says?

If you are a supporter and play Word Scrambler often, you'd be surprised to see that you receive a special prize after unscrambling ten words. I'm not going to tell you what, though. I'll leave you to find out what it is!

Criminals

Read more about criminals here.

Hangman

The second newest game on ChibiPaws, the objective of Hangman is to try and guess the word. You have six guesses available; the amount of guesses decrease each time you guess a wrong letter. If you correctly guess a word, you win a prize (I'm pretty sure it's just ChibiPoints and not an item). You can play Hangman up to five times a day.

Trivia

The newest game on ChibiPaws, Trivia will ask you a series of questions related to the site. They could be true/false, fill in the blank, or just a straight answer. If all ten questions are answered correctly, you receive a special prize!

The Contests

There are three contests on ChibiPaws: the Art Contest, the Writing Contest, and the Graphics Contest. There is also a weekly lottery that you can enter if you need some extra ChibiPoints. ;3

Art Contest

ChibiPaws had an Art Contest at one time, but was removed, and recently brought back. Users have the chance to create a piece of ChibiPaw's related art and submit it for other uses to vote for. The contest ends each Saturday, and the three people with the highest votes will receive prizes.

Writing Contest

Like the art contest except with writing. (Rumored as of now. There is currently no Writing Contest)

Graphics Contest

Like the art contest, but instead of just an image, things like banners and avatars can be submitted here. (Rumored as of now. There is currently no Graphics Contest)

The Lottery

For 200 ChibiPoints each, you can buy an unlimited amount of tickets and enter them into the lottery. Once purchased, you can enter in the numbers you'd like. The winner is announced every Saturday, and the amount of ChibiPoints in the jackpot comes from the number of tickets sold each week.

Other Games

Avatar Collecting

Into avatar collecting? Then you might have your name listed on the avatar's collectors list! :3 The list is divided into two separate listings, one with staff and another without. They show the top 15 collectors in each category.

The top five collectors with staff:

1. Mr. Dillon, with 498 avatars
2. Penguin, with 446 avatars
3. Lia, with 443 avatars
4. Raine, with 427 avatars
5. Zee, with 400 avatars

The top five collectors without staff:

1. Blackberry, with 370 avatars
2. Fruit, with 354 avatars
3. Gryffindor, with 354 avatars
4. BALC, with 351 avatars
5. Loner, with 327 avatars

Quests

Queen Spheria (left) and Lord Caliber (right).

Are you bored, short on money, or have some items you need to get rid of? I suggest you try out the quests - a feature that was recently added back to the site!

There are two hosts for the quests: Queen Spheria and Lord Caliber. Spheria, who is based out of Kanoti Desert, is the nicer of the two. Lord Caliber, who is based out of Tomoros Castle, is the evil one. Both hosts can give out large amounts of ChibiPoints as a reward, however!

To begin a quest, go to the arcade and click on the quest icon. You should see a screen similar to this:

Quest1.JPG

Click on the link, and one of the two hosts should appear.

Quest2.JPG

At this point, you can either accept or deny the quest. If you choose to deny it, you will be redirected back to the arcade. If you accept, you will receive your items list, and your time limit will begin. When you find all the items and give them to the host, you will receive your prize!

Quest3.JPG

There is no limit on how many quests you can complete in a day. So, if you wish to do another quest after you finish your current, go right ahead!
